Filters 1999-2002

These pieces deal with filters, which operate as a second skin. The objects represent a form of looking from the inside out. The filters react to an extreme situation that presses into the body, squeezing out materials and emotions. Through this ongoing investigation the nature of the filter is exposed. It operates both as a shield and as a weapon that protects and castrates simultaneously.

אובייקטים המהווים מסננים או מתווכים ומשמשים כעור שני או חלופי. כולם נוצרו מנקודת מבטו של הנושא אותם,  מבפנים החוצה.

המסננים או המתווכים נוצרו בתגובה למצב קיצוני, חודרני, הפולש לגוף או משחרר ממנו, חומרים ורגשות. בעבודה נערך ברור החושף את איכויות המסנן או המתווך ככלי נשק; חרב פיפיות. מעטה מגן ומסרס כאחד.
